Things have been a little quiet on the Rolls-Royce Spectre front as of late.
That was until the British automaker presented its new model at the Shanghai auto show.
Not only did the brand announce expansion of its global presence, it unveiled a new custom hue for the eagerly-anticipated Spectre EV.
That’s right, the craftspeople at Goodwood have been hard at work developing a new paint job for the Rolls-Royce Spectre.
As if it wasn’t already elegant enough, the new two-tone morganite with gunmetal finish makes the Spectre look even more special.
But you’re probably asking yourself, what is morganite?
To be honest, we had to do a quick online search to find out that morganite is an “orange or pink variety of beryl”, as well as a gemstone.
The new Spectre does have a pink tinge to it, but we’re pretty sure Rolls has chosen to name the color after the gemstone.
On the inside, the Spectre’s unique Canadel doors are premiered, with the “interior panel crafted from a single sheet of wood, precisely placed at an exact 55-degree angle.”
According to Rolls-Royce, this has been done to “evoke a sense of motion within the car.”
It also gets sumptuous Grace White leather accented by Ardent Red highlights.
There’s even delicate Peony Pink accents on the RR monograms, contrast piping, and sтιтching on the instrument panel.
Unfortunately, Rolls-Royce hasn’t released any interior pictures of the new Spectre which is a shame really, as it sounds rather pleasant.
What’s more, the luxury automaker didn’t disclose if the car was custom-made for a customer, or if it was just showing off its expertise.
We’re fairly certain, though, we’re likely to see many more bespoke creations making their way out of Goodwood as the Spectre nears the end of its extensive testing program.
The Rolls-Royce Spectre shared the stage with two other products of the brand’s Bespoke division: a Phantom Extended and a Black Badge Cullinan.
