When Stray Rescue of St. Louis volunteers arrived at the scene, they encountered a fearsome canine that wouldn’t stop growling.
Then, as the rescuers listened carefully, they heard tiny newborn puppies crying. That’s why she’s so aggressive. She has a great cause to be protective of. He has little souls to care for.
Despite the Mother’s aggression, the rescuers could not be intimidated. They had to remember that their duty was to get the family to safety. So, they set up a large humane trap and baited it with food.
At first, the mother saw this and didn’t like it in the least – she started growling louder and louder as the rescuers got closer to her babies!
One of the rescuers grabbed one of her puppies. The mother followed her and walked straight into the trap after seeing that. After that, the volunteer placed puppy number 1 in a soft bag.
It was time to collect the rest of the litter. They were gathered in a corner, sleeping. One by one, the rescuer saved them. In total there were 6 puppies.
The entire alteration in the mother’s character occurred at the moment she was taken out of the vehicle and saw her babies again. It was like he understood specifically what was going on. Canines are pretty smart, you know?
The mother had scars on her face. Maybe from dog fighting. She was very happy to be able to return to a comfortable place with her children. Much better than that horrible place they lived in!
He gave each puppy a sniff and a kiss. Currently it was time for a much needed nap.
Rescues like this need all our support. Let’s applaud them for all their efforts and follow them on YouTube! There is information in the video clip summary on how you can donate to their cause and how to apply to adopt! d.
