Ronaldo is preparing to celebrate his 40th birthday but has not shown any signs of giving up in his football career. At the same age, many players have chosen to retire, but CR7 is far from thinking about that.
Ronaldo has built a reputation over the years for always going the extra mile in pursuit of perfection. He demands the best of himself and those around him, with a relentless work ethic ensuring that he remains strong at the age of 39.
Ronaldo has scored 48 goals this season and shows no signs of stopping. He will do everything he can to ensure he is in the best shape – physically and mentally – before entering the EURO 2024 finals.
In a recent sharing about how to stay highly focused, CR7 said: “One important thing, I don’t talk after 11 o’clock. I also don’t talk on the phone. I don’t like talking at night because my mind might be affected. So, don’t call me after 10 o’clock!”
Retirement still seems a long way off for the greatest footballer of all time, with more goals to be scored and more records to be broken before he even thinks about hanging up his boots.
Recently, German newspaper Bild said that Bayer Leverkusen is keen to recruit CR7 in the upcoming summer transfer window. However, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Al Nassr is still building the team around Ronaldo and the 39-year-old striker will stay at the club until the end of his current contract in 2025.
