On the second night of a back-to-back, the Lakers defeated the Wizards in overtime, 134-131.
It wasn’t a very impressive game, since Washington is 9-50, but a win is a win, and the Lakers move to 33-28.
LA overcame arguably their worst defensive effort of the season, with Anthony Davis scoring 40 points and 15 rebounds and LeBron James contributing 31 points and nine assists, to avoid shame at home. LA is currently running hot, with a 9-3 record in February.
On Saturday, the Los Angeles Lakers will face the reigning NBA champions and conference rivals Denver Nuggets.
