Fortunately, they found her thanks to the good Samaritan who took her picture and gave it to Ortega. A stick was implemented in trying to remove the obstacle away to get to Gwen. However, the tide was coming in, and he needed to save her quickly.

Ortega lifted the rock with all his might to push it off just enough to get her out. He was careful when freeing her, ensuring she was not physically harmed. Once Gwen was free, she went right up to her gallant rescuer and kissed him. Gwen was given back to her family, who were missing her.
