Three-time Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes goes to great lengths to keep his body in tip-top shape. In the Netflix docuseries “Quarterback” Mahomes is working out with his trainer.
When he’s not going through intense workouts, the Kansas City Chiefs’ star quarterback relies on proper nutrition and enough sleep to help him thrive every time he steps on an NFL field.
Mahomes has previously acknowledged the important role his diet plays.
Mahomes told Men’s Journal in 2018: “That’s something you have to care about when you get to the NFL to stay in the league.” the best possible shape. It is very important.”
I usually eat four to five meals a day. I eat breakfast, then lunch, and divide dinner evenly to make sure I don’t eat too much at any one time.”
But earlier this week, the two-time NFL MVP’s wife, Brittany, revealed the quarterback’s love of ice cream. Brittany, who plays soccer competitively, scoffed at her husband’s habit of eating mini ice cream cones, which apparently includes consuming about 10 sweet treats a night.
“Does anyone eat 10 of these every night?” she wrote on her Instagram Stories post alongside a photo of her husband sitting on the couch, adding, “Because he does,” with followed by a laughing emoji.
Brittany later shared another image of a macron in front of a tub of ice cream, and although she didn’t specify who the treat was for, she wrote: “Not me…” near the end of the post.
This isn’t the first time Mahomes’ love of ice cream has been on display. In the October 2023 edition of Jason and Travis Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast, the four-time All-Pro tight end asserted that the Chiefs quarterback’s freezer contains a significant amount of Dippin’ ice cream Dots.
“Have you ever seen Dippin’ Dots anywhere?” Jason, the now retired Philadelphia Eagles center asked his brother Travis.
“I saw them at Pat Mahomes’ garage,” he replied. “He’s got a freezer Dippin’ Dots.”
The image of a shirtless Mahomes inside celebrating Kansas City’s win over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game previously went viral, with social media users pointing out that the quarterback has no abs six pack. The photo was shared on social media with the hashtag “DadBod.” Rashee Rice was then seen wearing a T-shirt with the viral image.
