For over a decade, this sweet Chihuahua named Daisy has been making homeowners smile every day.
So when it came time to celebrate the pup’s 15th birthday, Daisy’s family thought carefully about how to give hers an extra-big smile.
“We knew we wanted to celebrate her a great quinceañera,” Tracy Nguyen, Daisy’s owner, told The Dodo. “ To celebrate his magnificent life and as a nod to his roots!”
The family spared no expense to ensure Daisy’s big day was unforgettable.
And it definitely was.
Daisy’s family and friends gathered to surprise the beloved pup, decking out the house just for the occasion. It was their chance to let Daisy know how much she means to them.
“We could all tell that she could really feel the love,” Nguyen said.
But no birthday celebration could be complete without cake. And for that, the family had something really special in store.
Instead of buying any old birthday cake for Daisy, the family ordered a unique one, featuring Daisy’s adorable portrait.
I was in love.
“When we brought out the cake for his special moment, his eyes filled with tears and he was absolutely satisfied,” Nguyen said.

Daisy could also be getting older, as she is now an older dog. Although that didn’t stop her from enjoying every minute of the festivities planned for her.
“She definitely had a great time!” Nyguen stated.
In the end, the occasion was a great success. Daisy was delighted to be surrounded by so much love and affection from the people she loves.
His family wouldn’t have it any other way.
“Daisy is truly the heart of our family, and we are so grateful to have such an amazing, fun, strong, loving companion in our lives for so many years,” Nguyen said. “We love her with all our hearts.”
